How to Move On and Let Go

How to Move On | yoloabundance.com

Letting go and moving on are two processes that are easy to say but are very difficult to do. Moving on is one thing and letting go is another, but these two usually come in pairs. One cannot simply move on and not let go. Because of this reason, a lot of times we find ourselves struggling to let go and pressured to move forward with not much success.

The art of letting go is not a complicated process. The pitfall that usually gets most people during this process is the thought of releasing and turning your back away from the past. While it is true that you will lose many things, you also gain something more valuable which is yourself.

Moving on

In many ways, the saying “life goes on” really says it all. Whether it be in your career, relationships, or problems that you have to move on from, life will continue.

There may be things that are painful to bear during this process, but the end process is well worth it.

Moving on with your life includes putting the past behind you because these are the things slowing you down.

They are like heavy pieces of baggage that will hinder you to progress.

Sometimes moving on is not about moving on from a bad place to a good place. When you’ve reached a certain level of awareness in your life, you may notice that where you are is not so bad after all - it’s comfortable.

However, something deep inside is screaming for a jump into the unknown, perhaps to take a risk or do something new that you’ve never really done before. Sometimes, this requires moving on from what you “know” into a future that is “unknown”.

This can be even more challenging to do than to move on from something that originated from a “problem”. Nevertheless, it is a call for you to bravely face the “calling” and step up and through to a bigger and brighter “you”.

Perhaps, this is one that is the version of you you have evolved to become.

How Does Let Go Work

Part of the moving on process is letting go of the things that no longer healthy and not contributing to your growth and happiness.

You may be wondering how does ‘let go’ actually work.

It starts by deciding that you really want to let go and move on.

The moment you do, you can now identify the people, memories, past experiences and pains that you want to let go of.

If you are still wondering how does ‘let go’ work after you identify them, the next steps are up to you.

There are a lot of methods and ways that you can try. You can go to a life coach, listen to inspirational talks on how to move on and let go.

One of the most powerful ways to let go and move on is Meditation. The reason for this is because these experiences, while easily dealt with on a physical plane, are largely emotional.

When it comes to moving on or letting go emotionally, a much gentler and kinder approach is required.

We’ve noticed that it’s only when we allow ourselves that space to truly see what it is we need to let go and move on from, is when this transformation occurs.

Meditation is one of the most supportive ways to allow this transformation to envelope you with a nourishing space to shift your perspective.

#01 Letting go of the past, moving on, releasing meditation by the beach

No matter where you are in life, the past seduces and still hovers lost time in your unconscious. It has a very good way of enticing us to linger on and not move forward because it uses its advantage which is the emotional connection to your experiences. While it is beneficial to be looking at your past, it also can be in many time shackles that binds you. What works best is to pick up as much learning from your past and release it. There is really no point carrying something that is more of a burden than a support.

Letting go meditation helps you release all of that. In this video I’ll show you exactly how to let go and move on by releasing the past that holds you:

#03 If you’ve had a friend, lover or person betray you, watch this!

Bitterness can swallow you when a friend betrays you. Even when it is a love betrayal and you're betrayed in love, the residue of the pain, confusion and punch in the stomach of self worth (visible and invisible) takes a huge toll on us.

Especially when you're being betrayed by someone you love, the energy and memory of it can disrupt your entire week, month and even years and decades down the lines.

When you're not aware and mindful of the repercussions of these betrayals in relationships and friendships, you can easily act out in rage and anger... Or implode and feel sad.

Either way, it does not fully allow you to be free, and instead, chains you down even more to this unpleasant pattern and experience. Betrayal of trust is a really difficult situation to be in and can be emotionally draining, but meditation helps in managing your emotions and keeping them in check.

Watch the video to learn how you can rise from this, find the opposite of betrayal, and stop the story of bitterness within.
